Who NomaSports is for

NomaSports is made for ordinary people, not only for the gym: beginners, women, people coming back after a break, and everyday and recreational athletes. It is not for people who need a doctor, a fixed diet or a coach in the room. Here is who it fits and why, with what we know from public reviews and what is still untested.

Beginners

Public reviews say beginners are afraid of the gym and quit after a first session that is too hard (our analysis). NomaSports is designed to tell you in plain words what to do today and to say less when it knows less. It does not need a watch or an account to start.

Women

The sharpest reviews from women say a product was not made for them: cycle, postpartum, perimenopause, privacy and language are what their reviews are about. NomaSports is made with women in mind: a cycle mode, privacy, and no comparing bodies. We have not yet tested it with women in women-only gyms, and reviews cannot tell us what they want. That needs interviews.

People coming back after a break

If you stopped for months, you need an easy way back, not a plan for the person you were. The assistant works out what is normal for you from your own days of sleep, movement and food.

Everyday athletes: two to five sessions a week

If you train in more than one way, one place for food, sleep and sessions helps. The gym is one case of load. Running, court sports, swimming, yoga, cycling and walking count the same way (see sport by sport).

Recreational athletes: running, tennis, cycling, Hyrox

You can start a session of any activity by voice in the private test, and the assistant adds it to the day. It does not coach pace or technique and does not write a training plan.

Performance athletes

NomaSports is not built for periodised training today. Athletes in reviews want control, accurate data and the right to override the algorithm, and we note that for later work. We do not claim it fits this group now.

Who it is not for

Beyond one person’s phone

We are open to working with gyms, coaches, sports organizations, nutrition brands, manufacturers and wearable companies. Nothing of that is live, and we have not built or tested a version for gyms or coaches. The partner types and what we are looking for are on our partners page. To talk about any of it, use the contact page.
